About Jean Doucet

I have been passionate about photography most of my life. I seek the extraordinary found in the ordinary. There is much to be seen which passes us by. 

Travel photography is a favourite of mine. I seek out unusual perspectives, lighting which enhances the beauty I discover in sites I visit. I enjoy exploring my local parks here at home in beautiful Uxbridge, trails and water features. Landscapes that cause me to pause in awe and wonder drive me to take trail walks to capture the wonder.

Portrait photography allows me the opportunity to capture beautiful people around me. I seek the natural look in my photos.

Another passion of mine is event documentary and street photography. I seek to tell a story for my viewers, capturing the joy and enthusiasm of the moment.
